The cancellation of the Take Out Lasagna Dinner was a blow to our Women’s Group budget. We hope to realize a portion of the roughly $1200 we regular make with our Mother’s Day Plant and Bake Sale, however.
We have reorganized this event and are planning a Preorder--- Drive In-Plant Sale on Saturday, May 9th. In order to be as safe as possible, customers will need to preorder their plants by Wednesday, May 6th, and from 9 AM to Noon on Saturday morning, May 9th drive into the church parking lot to have their orders placed in their car. Plants will be provided by Betsy’s Farmstand in Sterling.
Attached is a list of the available plants-colors and prices. You may send a check with your order or pay when you pick up your plants. We will accept cash or checks- checks made out to WCGCS are preferred. Your satisfaction is guaranteed!
To order, fill out the form and mail it to Kathryn Stellitano 88 Gorman Rd. Brooklyn, Ct
Or call Kathryn at 860 208 6088 to give her your order. You may also email the order to firstname.lastname@example.org - you will receive a confirmation email in return. Be sure to include a phone number with your order.
On Saturday, May 9th, drive into the church at the Route 6 entrance– a helper will retrieve your order and place it in your car. It would expedite matters if you called 860 208 6088 a few minutes before arriving, so your order can be ready for you.
There will also be a limited number of Finnish Coffee Breads available for preorder. Make a note on your plant order. Breads are $7 each.
If you have spent your quarantine time cleaning closets, the Thrift Shop will be accepting donations on Saturday morning also. However, the Shop will NOT BE OPEN to customers at that time.
Please consider helping out on the Saturday morning of the sale. We will need some helpers to carry plant orders out of the chapel and place them in customer cars.
